Recipe 15: Shanghainese Minced Pork Rice

Ingredients
  1. 2 tbsp oil
  2. 50g onion, chopped
  3. 25g minced garlic
  4. 80g minced pork
  5. 1 cup cooked Heavenly Rice
  6. 60g frozen mixed vegetables
  7. 50g prawns, shelled and chopped
  8. 40g Sichuan preserved vegetable (zha cai), diced
  9. 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  10. 2 tbsp fried shallots
  11. A pinch of salt and ground white pepper
Method
  1. In a wok, heat the oil until hot. Fry the onion and garlic until fragrant. Add the pork and continue frying for another 3 minutes.
  2. Add in the rest of the ingredients and fry for 5 minutes.
