Golden Lou Hei Fried Rice (黄金炒饭 – 七彩鱼生)

Instead of having the usual yusheng every Chinese New Year, how about a Golden Lou Hei Fried Rice for more huats this 2019?

  1. 2 cups of Heavenly Premium Rice
  2. 4 egg yolks
  3. 4 egg whites (thinly sliced)
  4. 300g smoked salmon
  5. 1 lettuce (thinly sliced)
  6. 1 carrot (thinly sliced)
  7. 1 cucumber (thinly sliced)
  8. 1 red capsicum (thinly sliced)
  9. 2 packets of deep-fried golden (pok chui) crackers
  10. Crushed roasted peanuts (desired amount)
  11. Roasted sesame seeds (desired amount)
  12. 1 piece of bakkwa (肉干)
  13. White pepper powder (desired amount)
  14. Chinese 5-spice powder (desired amount)
  15. Plum sauce (desired amount)
  16. 2 to 3 tbsp Heavenly 100% Pure Vegetable Oil
  1. Add 4 egg yolks to Heavenly Premium Rice (left overnight rice).
  2. Mix well until all rice grains are evenly coated.
  3. Heat up oil in a wok.
  4. Add egg-coated rice into wok and fry until fragrant.
  5. Remove from heat and scoop into a bowl.
  6. Place fried rice in the middle of the plate.
  7. Arrange all other yusheng ingredients around the rice.
  8. Time to lou hei!
