Ingredients
- 1 tbsp oil
- 10g minced garlic
- 1/2 spring chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 80g canned braised peanuts
- 20g ginger, cut into strips
- 10g red chilli, sliced
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- A pinch of ground white pepper
- 1 tsp cornflour
- 1 cup cooked Heavenly Rice
Method
- In a wok, heat the oil till hot. Fry the garlic until fragrant.
- Add in the rest of the ingredients, except for the cornflour and rice. Bring to a boil then simmer until the chicken is tender, about 25 minutes.
- To thicken the sauce, mix the cornflour with 1 tsp water. Stir into the sauce. Remove from the heat and serve with Heavenly Rice.
