Hi there! Great to see you back here. The heat these days are excruciating and want to have a change from your bowl of steaming white rice? We’ll show you how. A simple and fun dish to make, Mini Heavenly Rice Ball makes not only the perfect meal, but also a snack for you and your family!
Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked brown rice
- 2 stalks of spring onion, finely sliced
- 1 tbsp black sesame
- 1 tbsp white sesame
- 1½ tbsp toasted sesame oil
- ¼ cup chopped Roasted Almonds
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- ¼ cup diced avocado
- ½ cup diced cucumber
Instructions
- Place all ingredients except avocado and cucumber into the bowl of rice, mix evenly.
- Add in a tablespoon of oil into heated pan and crisp small pieces of fresh meat.
- Place a little piece of square plastic wrap in a bowl and put in a small amount of rice mixture.
- Add in the crunchy bacon bits, roasted almond bits, and a few cubes of avocado and cucumber.
- Add another spoonful of rice mixture to cover the fillings entirely.
- Gather the plastic wrap together, twist it at the base and shape it into the form of a rice ball.
- Carefully remove the rice ball and repeat with the rest of the rice and ingredients.
- Garnish with ingredients of your choice. You can even sprinkle more sesame on it if needed.
