Steamed Minced Pork with Dark Soy Sauce 黑蒸猪肉

Whether it’s the extra scoop of dark soya sauce, a large spoonful of preserved vegetables, or the addition of salted egg, every mum has their own version of 黑蒸猪肉. INGREDIENTS
  • 1 bulb of garlic (chopped)
  • 300g minced pork
  • 1 packet of preserved vegetables
  • 1 tbsp light soya sauce
  • 1 tbsp dark soya sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup of hot water
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Mix minced pork, preserved vegetables, garlic, light soya sauce and dark soya sauce.
  2. Crack an egg into the mixture and blend it well.
  3. Bring mixture to another bowl (for steaming) and spread across evenly.
  4. Add 1 cup of hot water.
  5. Steam for 25 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Ready to serve!
